Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Jeremy Martin, a real estate Sales Associate with Pursuit Real Estate ("we," "us"), collects, uses, protects, and shares information from visitors and users ("you") of jmartinjax.com (the "Site"), our social media pages, and our advertising lead forms, including forms on Facebook and Instagram. It applies to the Site and to the real estate services we offer.

1. Personal information you provide

We may collect personal information when you fill out a form on the Site or in one of our ads, request information, sign up for updates, respond to a survey, or contact us. This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and your answers to questions about your home search (such as communities of interest or where you are in the buying process). We collect personal information only when you choose to give it to us. You may browse the Site without providing any. Choosing not to provide it may limit some features, such as receiving information you requested.

2. Non-personal information

When you use the Site, we may automatically collect non-personal technical information, such as your browser type, device and operating system, internet service provider, and similar connection details.

3. Security of your information

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Information sent through the Site is protected in transit using encryption (SSL/TLS). However, no method of transmission over the internet or any wireless network is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information you send to us.

4. Cookies

The Site may use cookies to improve your experience. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when cookies are sent. If you do, some parts of the Site may not work properly.

5. Advertising and analytics

We advertise on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, and we may use analytics or advertising tools on the Site. These providers may use cookies or similar technologies to measure ad performance and show relevant ads, under their own privacy policies. This policy does not cover how those providers use cookies or the data they collect.

6. How we use your information

  • To respond to your inquiries and send what you asked for (for example, a checklist or an incentive breakdown).
  • To contact you about your home search by email, phone, or text (texts only if you agreed to receive them; see section 7).
  • To send updates and information you agreed to receive. Every marketing email includes unsubscribe instructions, and you can also contact us to opt out.
  • To keep records of our communications in our customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • To improve our Site, services, and customer support.

7. Text messaging

If you agree to receive text messages from us (for example, by checking the text-message consent box on one of our forms), we may send you text messages, including automated text messages, at the number you provided about your home search and your request. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or your text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes.

8. Sharing your information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We share it only:

  • with service providers who help us operate, such as our CRM, email and texting providers, website hosting, and analytics, who may use it only to perform services for us;
  • with Pursuit Real Estate, the brokerage that supervises our real estate activities;
  • with your consent, or as needed to provide services you request; and
  • to comply with the law, protect our rights, or meet legal and regulatory obligations.

We may share aggregated information that does not identify you.

9. Third-party websites

The Site may link to other websites, such as MLS search tools, lenders, builders, or partners. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own policies.

10. Social media logins and lead forms

If you submit one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram, or interact with us using a social media account, we receive the information you choose to share through that platform (such as your name, email, and phone number). We use it only as described in this policy. The platform's own privacy policy governs its use of your information.

11. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law or by real estate record-keeping rules. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymize it. If that isn't possible (for example, in backups), we store it securely and isolate it from further use until deletion is possible.

12. Your right to request deletion

You may ask us to delete the personal information we have collected about you. After verifying your request, we will delete it and direct our service providers to do the same, unless we need to keep it to:

  • complete a transaction or provide a service you requested;
  • detect or prevent security incidents, fraud, or illegal activity;
  • fix errors;
  • exercise or protect legal rights;
  • comply with a legal obligation, including real estate record-keeping requirements; or
  • use it internally in ways reasonably expected based on your relationship with us.

13. California residents

California residents may request, once a year and free of charge, information about any personal information we disclosed to third parties for their direct marketing purposes (California Civil Code § 1798.83). California residents under 18 may ask us to remove content they posted publicly on our services. To make either request, contact us using the information below.

14. Children under 13

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please ask a parent or guardian before using the Site.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, and we will change the "Last updated" date when we do. Please check this page periodically.

16. Your acceptance

By using the Site or submitting a form, you accept this policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
